We automate wherever possible, support customer teams and developers with their applications, and ensure platforms remain secure, up to date, and available.\nOur ideal candidate\nWe are looking for a T-shaped engineer with a proven track record in operating and improving complex, mission-critical environments.\nCore technical skills\nStrong experience with Linux environments, including Debian and Red Hat administration, scripting, and security.\nHands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD (GitLab CI), and certificate management.\nExperience with automation products like Ansible or Chef\nExperience scripting and interacting with APIs using Bash or Python.\nExperience with technical application management and troubleshooting of Python-based applications, including APIs and automation\nExperience building and maintaining on-premises and cloud-based Kubernetes environments, including multi-tenant clusters, containers and helm charts.\nExperience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting, for example MySQL and MongoDB.\nExpertise in monitoring and observability tooling, such as Cilium, Hubble, and Datadog.\nKubernetes and security\nStrong experience with Linux environments, including Debian and Red Hat administration, scripting, and security.\nStrong knowledge of Kubernetes networking and security.Cluster and workload hardening.\nExperience with Cilium, or another CNI.\nExperience with NGINX Ingress Controller.\nFamiliarity with storage solutions such as Portworx.\n\nExperience securing containerized environments and Kubernetes clusters.\nStrong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks and security issues across a complex landscape.\nNetworking\nSolid L2/L3 networking fundamentals outside of Kubernetes: switching, routing, BGP, BFD, and SNMP, distributed and edge firewalling (for example Palo Alto), and connectivity such as leased lines.\nArchitecture, leadership, and collaboration\nAbility to create high- and low-level designs, both pre- and post-sales.\nExperience facilitating technical workshops and writing clear technical documentation.\nStrong presentation and collaboration skills across teams.\nA proactive attitude towards team building and knowledge sharing.\nIf you are passionate about working in a mission-critical environment where automation, security, and reliability are top priorities, we would love to hear from you.\nEqual opportunity and inclusion\nEveryone we work with - and consider working with - has a right to equal treatment.
