You will work daily within a DevOps team where your colleagues will expect you to maintain a wide overview while guarding aspects like quality, security, and planning.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDesign, build and run Java-based micro-services and APIs that support business-critical banking processes\nWork end-to-end: from clarifying requirements and refining user stories to development, testing, deployment and operations\nCollaborate closely with other DevOps teams, architects and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable and scalable solutions\nContribute to improving engineering practices: code quality, testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation\nHelp the team keep production stable, with a strong focus on reliability, security, observability and incident prevention\nStay up to date with modern engineering practices and bring in ideas to improve the platform and the way we work\nIdeally, you have:\nStrong hands-on Java experience (preferably Java 17+)\nSolid experience with Spring Boot\nExperience designing and building RESTful APIs and system integrations\nExperience with Java-based microservices in production\nA track record of writing testable, maintainable, high-quality code\nExperience working in a professional development team (code reviews, CI/CD, etc.)\nWe’re also open to engineers with a strong background in other languages (e.g. Kotlin, .NET, C++) plus at least ~3 years of recent, hands-on Java experience.\nWhat would be a great plus for us? \nYou don’t need all of these. Having some of them - or strong interest and the ability to learn - is a plus:\nExperience with Kotlin or other JVM languages\nKnowledge of Authentication and Authorization protocols (OIDC / OAuth2, etc)\nExperience with DevOps practices and tools (preferably Azure DevOps)\nExperience with public cloud (AWS and/or Azure)\nInfrastructure as Code experience (e.g. Terraform)\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum teams\nEveryone we work with and consider working with has a right to equal treatment.
