# VMware Cloud Foundation Engineer

Bouw een private cloud die letterlijk niet stil mag vallen Een nieuwe private cloudomgeving vanaf nul opbouwen gebeurt niet vaak. Een platform bouwen waarop mission-critical applicaties gaan draaien, al helemaal niet. Voor een van onze klanten bouwen we een volledig nieuwe private cloudomgeving. Geen bestaande omgeving waar je alleen beheer op doet, maar een greenfield platform waarin je vanaf het begin invloed hebt op technische keuzes, architectuur en de manier waarop het platform straks wordt gerund. De basis wordt VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). Samen met het team bouw je een betrouwbaar, veilig en zoveel mogelijk geautomatiseerd private-cloudplatform. Je werkt daarbij over de volledige stack: van compute, storage en networking tot virtualisatie, automation, monitoring en lifecycle management. Na de bouw draag je het platform niet over aan een operationeel team: je blijft verantwoordelijk voor wat je hebt neergezet. Zo werken we bij Schuberg Philis: plan, build en run. Wat ga je doen?
