You will operate CNC equipment, inspect finished parts, and help maintain the quality standards our customers depend on.\nHOW YOU WILL DO IT\n- Operate CNC machines, grinders, mills, and similar equipment in accordance with prints and specifications\n- Produce required quantities of parts within established tolerances\n- Measure finished parts with precision tools (micrometer, caliper, height gauge) to ensure compliance with quality specs\n- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, tapes, check fixtures, and drop gauges\n- Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic adjustments and maintenance\n- Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining\n- Maintain logs of units produced including any rejected or discarded pieces\n- Consult with quality assurance to identify and resolve out-of-tolerance issues\n- Follow ISO quality procedures and maintain cleanliness using 5S process\n- Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with MIOSHA regulations\nWHAT WE NEED FROM YOU\nBasic requirements:\n- Prior related experience and/or training preferred, with reliable work history\n- Knowledge of design techniques and principles for precision technical plans and blueprints (preferred)\n- Basic computer skills including familiarity with inventory and order processing systems\nPhysical requirements:\n- Prolonged periods on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive bending and stooping\n- Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.\n- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts\n- Able to work in noisy environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts\nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US\n- Competitive pay and benefits package\n- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5 AM-3:30 PM; overtime as needed\n- Weekly pay\n- 16 days of PTO in your first year\n- 401(k) with match starting Day 1\n- Medical, dental, and vision coverage effective the 1st of the month after hire\n- HSA with company contribution of up $1500, FSA, and wellness premium discount\n- Company-paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability, pet insurance, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work expected.
