You will be responsible for accurately cutting, sorting, and distributing material to support on-time order fulfillment -- as part of a team that takes pride in both quality and safety.\nHOW YOU WILL DO IT\n- Operate extrusion saw equipment to cut material according to production schedules and work orders\n- Read customer orders, shipping documents, and requisitions to determine what needs to be moved or distributed\n- Assemble and stage customer orders; place on pallets, shelves, or route to packing station\n- Mark materials with accurate identifying information and retrieve items from receiving or production areas\n- Sort and store materials by size, type, style, color, or product code\n- Safely load and unload in restricted spaces\n- Apply basic math skills -- tape measure, calipers, decimals, fractions -- to ensure accurate cuts\n- Use feeler gauges to properly square blocks\nWHAT WE NEED FROM YOU\nBasic requirements:\n- 3-6 months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and training\n- Forklift experience preferred; willingness to become certified required\n- Basic computer skills\nPhysical requirements:\n- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout a full shift\n- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs. routinely; occasionally 50+ lbs.\n- Ability to wear all required safety equipment\nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US\n- Pay: $18-$24/hr with overtime and bonuses available (safety/attendance, end-of-year, monthly gas)\n- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM; OT and Saturdays as required\n- Weekly pay\n- 16 days of PTO in your first year\n- 401(k) with match starting Day 1\n- Medical, dental, and vision coverage effective the 1st of the month after hire\n- HSA with company contribution up to $1500, FSA, and wellness premium discount\n- Company-paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability, pet insurance, and tuition reimbursement\n- Parental leave, healthcare concierge, EAP, and more!\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work expected. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.\nQualifications\nPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nHigh School Diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent\n3 to 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination \nFork-lift experience (preferred), or ability to become certified in fork-lift operation\nSKILLS AND ABILITIES\nFamiliarity with use of a computer and applications.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nRoutinely required to stand and walk; use hands to handle and feel; reach with arms and hands; as well as climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl \nRoutinely performs repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, lifting and pulling\nRoutinely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds \nSpecific vision requirements include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.\nMust be able to wear all necessary safety equipment.\nENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS\nRoutinely work in noisy environment.\nRoutinely exposed to moving and mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.\nThe company has reviewed this job description to ensure that essential functions and basic duties have been included.
