In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in PCB fabrication while collaborating with process engineers to improve workflows and document processes. If you are eager to learn, contribute, and grow this might be the internship for you.\nAs a Process Engineer Intern, a typical day might include the following:\nImplement, modify, and document assembly processes.\nAssist project execution, conduct experiments, collect and report results\nAssist new processes and new component qualification\nDesign, implement, and modify tooling for process improvement\nProvide support to engineering staff and management as needed.\nFollow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.\nUnderstand. Create. Simplify.\nOther duties as assigned.\nThis job might be for you if you:\nAre a US Citizen\nAre currently a student pursuing a degree in an engineering or mathematics field at a local accredited institution\nHave strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills\nAre able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities\nAre able to work cooperatively in a team environment\nHave background check results satisfactory to SEL\nHave negative drug test result(s)\nIt's a plus if you have:\nExperience troubleshooting process machinery problems\nExperience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments\nWorking knowledge of electronics industry manufacturing processes and machinery\nFamiliarity with modern test equipment\nAbout Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories\nSEL designs, manufactures, and supports products and systems that protect, monitor, control, and automate electric power systems.
