This accounting position performs a variety of technical accounting and/or auditing work, which requires the application of accounting theory and practices, to assist in ensuring all trust assets are fairly presented and reconciled through automation initiatives and process management.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerforms professional-level accounting duties such as:Performing and reviewing reconciliations\nCompleting journal entries\nPreparing work papers, schedules and reports\n\nEnsures transactions are in accordance with applicable authority, policies, and procedures and are recorded consistent with acceptable accounting standards.\nDemonstrates or explains accounting practices and procedures as requested.\nPrepares accounting reports and supplemental schedules.\nPrepares analysis of inter-company relationships and transactions.\nUploads journal entries on monthly basis.\nPrepares account reconciliations for department owned accounts.\nMay prepare financial statements.\nMay prepare foreign currency translations.\nPrepares various reports for compliance with GAAP regulations.\nResponds to SOX and internal audit requests as needed.\nAssists with special projects as necessary.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEducation:\nEither: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a university accredited by AACSB, Bachelor’s degree in another field from a university accredited by AACSB combined with relevant accounting experience, or CPA\nExperience:\nNo minimum requirements\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nFamiliarity with SEC reporting requirements and consolidation accounting required\nUnderstanding of accounting principles, GAAP\nAbility to analyze data and provide recommendations\nAbility to work independently, prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines\nAbility to prepare and present working papers and supporting documentation\nProficiency with PC software such as Excel, other Microsoft Office applications\nAbility to express ideas clearly and effectively in both written and oral communications\nPostal Code: 70121Category (Portal Searching): Finance and AccountingJob Location: US-LA -
