Dispatch services may include:\nRemovals\nVisitations\nTransfers of casketed decedent and/or remains to final dispositions\nDecedent memorial services\nScheduling\nSchedules activities for both the internal staff as well as market locations\nSchedules the dispatch of vehicles and associates to ensure that services are provided as scheduled; services may include:\nRemovals\nVisitations\nTransfers of casketed decedent and/or remains to final dispositionsDecedent memorial services\n\nMaintains in-house scheduling of location resources\nSchedules sufficient resources to meet market commitments\nCustomer Service\nDemonstrates a commitment to internal and external customer service while serving the Company’s families exceptionally well\nBuilds and maintains strong relationships by promoting a team atmosphere\nCommunicates with location associates, including directors, managers and other staff members to mitigate confusion and misunderstanding\nLeads by example while staying engaged and supportive of company initiatives\nManage Inventory (Location specific)\nTakes and places orders for necessary supplies\nManages inventory for caskets and cremation containers for the market, including receiving requests and making orders, as required\nOrder additional general supplies at the direction of the location management.\nPerforms other duties as directed by management\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\nLicenses\nCurrent valid driver’s license may be required\nExperience\nMinimum of six (6) months scheduling or logistics experience\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nKnowledge of the company’s service promise, services, capabilities, policies procedures and practices to effectively manage various location needs\nAbility to resolve issues in accordance with company goals and objectives\nExcellent communication skills and interpersonal skills\nAbility to prioritize and organize effectively with a keen sense to detail\nAbility to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment\nAbility to multi-task using multiple software programs simultaneously\nAbility to communicate with associates, customers, supplies in person or by phone\nSolid knowledge of computers, MS Office, e-mail, internet and other software required or willingness to learn\nGood driving record\nPostal Code: 28208Category (Portal Searching): OperationsJob Location: US-NC -
