This role is critical in ensuring reliable, scalable, and production-like environments for release validation and hardening.\nKey Responsibilities\nInfrastructure Management (On-Premises & Cloud)\nManage and maintain VMware-based virtual machine environments for on-premises deployments.\n\nProvision, configure, and manage AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, VPCs, Elastic IPs, and security groups.\n\nTest Environment Provisioning\nStand up and maintain test environments for engineering teams, particularly during release hardening phases.\n\nEnsure environments are stable, reproducible, and aligned with production configurations.\n\nInfrastructure as Code & Automation\nDesign, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalable and repeatable deployments.\n\nDevelop and maintain automation workflows for provisioning and teardown of test environments.\n\nOptimization & Cost Efficiency\nAnalyze and optimize infrastructure utilization across on-prem and AWS environments.\n\nPerform rightsizing of instances and resources to balance performance and cost.\n\nTest Execution & CI/CD Integration\nExecute tests as required, including functional, integration, and system-level testing.\n\nIntegrate and manage test workflows within Jenkins pipelines.\n\nCollaborate with QA and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure test coverage.\n\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency of test systems and DevOps processes.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience\n\n3+ years of experience in DevOps infrastructure, cloud management, software testing, or QA engineering\n\nStrong experience with VMware virtualization and VM lifecycle management.\n\nHands-on experience with AWS services, including:\nEC2\n\nVPC configuration\n\nElastic IPs\n\nSecurity Groups\n\nIn-depth knowledge of Terraform, including module design, state management, and best practices.\n\nFamiliarity with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.\n\nSolid understanding of networking concepts (subnets, routing, firewalls).\n\nExperience provisioning and managing test environments at scale.\n\nFamiliarity with infrastructure optimization and cost management strategies.\n\nAbility to run and support test execution, including debugging failures.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work across multiple teams.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with additional Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., CloudFormation).\n\nScripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash).\n\nExperience in release engineering or release hardening processes.\n\nFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\n\nFamiliarity with Linux.\n\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
