Ideal candidates will be able to take a lead role in reviewing/accepting requirements, building new data collection and manipulation functionality, and resolving complex defects within the software.\nRequired Qualifications:\n8+ years software development experience in: C/C++\nProgramming experience with C# is a plus\nKnowledge of OS architecture and interactions with Windows and Linux (Ubuntu/Redhat); AIX/Solaris is a plus\nExperience with deployment of patches remotely that involve in-place upgrades\nExperience with interacting with REST API calls\nExperience with .NET framework, PowerShell and Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable\nFamiliarity with host metrics (CPU, RAM, disk, network, etc.)\nExperience with creating and running software both under administrator and non-administrator accounts\n6+ years Linux\n6+ years of MySQL, including exposure to views, stored functions, and stored procedures.\nExperience developing multi-threaded or multi-process software\nBasic working knowledge of: SNMP, SOAP\nDemonstrated ability to incorporate AI coding assistants into daily workflow.\nExperience reviewing AI produced code and designs for accuracy.\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycles, from requirements through delivery.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPreference for AI DLC experience.\nExperience in the area of network or systems management is a major plus.\nExperience with network observability or monitoring platforms\nExperience working in Agile environments\nKey Skills & Abilities\nStrong analytical skills\nTroubleshoot complex issues across software and network layers\nContribute to system architecture, ensuring high availability and performance\nWrite clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices\nParticipate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives\nExposure to distributed systems and large-scale data processing\nBuild and maintain highly scalable C/C++ agent processes for the purpose of data collection, manipulation, pruning, etc\nReview requirements submitted by product managers and take a lead role in implementing said requirements.\nReview and correct and/or delegate resolution of defects\nParticipate in feature hand-off demos to provide internal exposure to emerging features and functionality Don’t meet every single requirement?
