This opportunity is ideal for someone who has experience managing a team in the fire detection, protection, security, and electrical industries and is ready to assume ownership of a Division service management role, while being part of a vibrant national organization.\n WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!)\nManage the service department of assigned Division. \nSupervise, train, and develop all branch associates, including technicians, service coordinators, billing coordinators, and dispatchers. \nResponsible for the scheduling, execution, billing and completion of service, warranty, and emergency jobs. \nResponsible for executing service inspections on time and resolution of system deficiencies. \nResponsible for developing a budget and meeting revenue and gross margin targets. \nCommunicate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to execute plans, programs, and processes designed to meet or exceed goals and maximize market potential. \nResponsible for delivering projects within the original budgeted cost. \nResponsible for executing monthly financial performance analysis. Reports the information in an effective manner to management and takes corrective action as needed. \nResponsible for efficient asset management, such as inventory and company service vehicles. \nResponsible for building a high-performance culture to include annual performance reviews and development initiatives. \nResponsible for manpower planning and allocation. \nResponsible in part for customer satisfaction and cash collections. \nWorks closely with the sales and installation teams to support the growth and profitability of the Division. \nResponsible for control and calibration of inspection, measuring, and testing equipment. \nResponsible to ensure all employees embrace our safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives. \nWHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU\nTwo to five years of experience in a service operations manager role within the fire detection, fire protection, or security environment. \nAbility to effectively communicate to a diverse group of individuals, including company leadership, regional staff, customers, and vendors. \nStrong, positive team builder with leadership ability. \nKnowledge of current fire alarm, clean agent/special hazard fire suppression, or security systems. \nStrong understanding of Profit and Loss statements and key financial drivers. \nAbility to attract, develop, grow, and retain a team. \nAbility to understand the technical aspects of the product lines and applications as necessary to make informed management decisions. \nValid driver’s license. \nMust be able to pass a background check and drug screening. \nAble to work independently. \nExcellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills. \nProficient in NFPA codes and standards. \nStrong computer skills;
