If you’re passionate about logistics and ready to drive success, we’d love to welcome you to our team.\nBusiness Development Manager\nLocation: Dallas, TX\nEmployment Type: Full-Time\nPosition Summary\nThe Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new business and growing customer relationships within the domestic transportation and freight brokerage market.\nThis role is ideal for an experienced transportation sales professional with an established network and strong understanding of domestic freight who can identify opportunities, develop long-term customer relationships, and provide reliable transportation solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop new business through prospecting, referrals, industry relationships, and an existing professional network\nBuild and manage a strong pipeline of domestic freight brokerage opportunities\nSell transportation solutions including truckload, LTL, expedited, dedicated, and other domestic transportation services\nDevelop and grow long-term relationships with shippers and key decision-makers\nIdentify additional opportunities within existing accounts to increase revenue and shipment volume\nCollaborate closely with operations and carrier teams to ensure successful onboarding and consistent execution\nUnderstand customer transportation challenges and develop solutions based on service, capacity, pricing, and operational needs\nRepresent Sciens Logistics at customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities\nMaintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline information, and sales reporting\nQualifications\nExperience: 3+ years of sales experience within domestic transportation, freight brokerage, or third-party logistics\nProven ability to develop and grow a book of business\nExisting relationships or network within the transportation and shipping industry strongly preferred\nStrong understanding of domestic truckload and freight brokerage\nDemonstrated success in new business development and account growth\nStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills\nSelf-motivated with the ability to independently develop new business opportunities\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree preferred;
