The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sourcing NdFeB (Neodymium Iron Boron), SmCo (Samarium Cobalt) magnet scrap, industrial scrap, and metal recycling materials, along with a well-established supplier network and strong commercial negotiation skills.\nKey Responsibilities\nSource and procure magnet scrap (NdFeB, SmCo), industrial metal scrap, and recycling feedstock from various channels.\nBuild and strengthen relationships with scrap suppliers, including:Magnet manufacturers\nMotor recyclers\nElectronics recyclers\nIndustrial scrap generators\nE-waste processors\nMetal traders and aggregators\n\nIdentify new sourcing opportunities and expand the supplier base across India.\nEvaluate scrap quality, grades, composition, assay reports, and recovery potential.\nConduct supplier assessments, audits, and negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.\nManage RFQs, commercial discussions, contracts, and purchase agreements.\nCoordinate inbound logistics, transportation, material movement, and delivery schedules.\nEnsure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements related to scrap procurement and recycling.\nMonitor market trends, scrap pricing movements, and supply-demand dynamics.\nWork closely with operations, metallurgy, recycling, and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted raw material availability.\nMaintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and sourcing reports.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related discipline.\n3-6 years of experience in:Magnet scrap sourcing\nMetal scrap procurement\nRecycling industry\nE-waste sourcing\nFerrous / Non-ferrous metals trading\n\nStrong understanding of magnet materials, rare earth metals, industrial scrap grades, and recycling value chains.\nExperience evaluating assay reports, material specifications, and metal recovery economics.\nProven track record of supplier development and commercial negotiations.\nDesired Skills\nStrong supplier networking and relationship management.\nCommercial acumen and cost optimization mindset.\nKnowledge of scrap grading, metallurgy, and material characterization.\nExcellent negotiation and vendor management skills.\nStrong analytical and market intelligence
