Duties must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nCares for deceased in a respectful manner while performing all the tasks involved in the cremation process\n\nReceives remains and ensures all documentation is complete and visual identification of the deceased is complete and accurate.\n\nCompletes all required documentation with respect to cremation process and equipment maintenance\n\nAdheres to all professional, municipal, state/provincial and federal licensing authority regulations applicable to the cremation of human remains\n\nAdheres to all applicable policies and procedures\n\nMaintains all Company logs/reports and required state-specific reports\n\nMaintains all chain of custody paperwork\n\nPromotes a safe work environment by being aware of and practicing universal precautions and adopting general principles of safe conduct\n\nMaintains the crematorium, equipment and adjacent facilities\n\nMay deliver/release cremated remains to appropriate funeral home or proper authority\n\nOther duties as directed by management\n\nMINIMUM Requirements\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\nStrong administrative skills / previous experience\n\nCertification/Licenses\nValid driver’s license required if performing removals and transfers of bodies and delivering cremated remains\n\nPhyscial Requirements\nAbility to maneuver heavy loads with aid of mechanical tools\n\nThis position requires the ability to safely push, pull, lift, and move heavy loads as part of daily duties.\n\nMust be able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and following safe work practices.\n\nPhysical effort requiring manual dexterity is required\n\nCarrying and/or lifting materials up to 100 pounds\n\nPushing or pulling up to 300 pounds on a wheeled table or stretcher\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nFamiliar with the basic operation of industrial equipment to include basic trouble-shooting skills\n\nBasic computer skills\n\nAbility to maintain effective relationships with all affiliates and/or third parties\n\nGood communication skills\n\nHigh level of compassion and integrity\n\nProblem solving skills\n\nAbility to multi task and set priorities\n\nDetail oriented\n\nHours\n16-24 hours a week\n\nCompensation\nStarting rate 21$\npay rate would be determined on experience\nPostal Code: T6E 6L1Category (Portal Searching): OperationsJob Location: CA-AB -
