When you work for Sciolex Corporation, you are working for a stable company that values you and is committed to ensuring you receive the utmost employee care.\nResponsibilities\nThe Functional Area Supervisor (FAS)/Records Supervisor is a permanent, full-time position supporting the overall mission of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by facilitating operations at a local USCIS Field Office. As an FAS, your responsibilities would include:\nAssigning, monitoring, and reviewing work of department staff\nReporting daily production statistics to Site Manager\nPrioritizing workloads and ensuring work is completed in a timely manner, reallocating resources as needed to meet goals established by USCIS\nEnsuring team completes all work assignments accurately, including daily time sheets\nMonitoring attendance and absences\nFacilitating the processing of priority assignments from USCIS\nIdentifying and addressing issues in work performance\nScheduling contractor staff, approving time off, initiating and implementing disciplinary actions, mentoring staff\nCollaborating with Site Manager to ensure best practices are in place and updating them as needed\nTraining new employees, creating training plans\nCreating/updating written standard operating procedures\nParticipating in meetings with government personnel\nServing as Point of Contact for site operations in Site Manager’s absence\nOther duties as assigned.\nPay Rate : $23\nQualifications & Physical Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n3 years of related experience\nMust be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services\nAbility to read and understand proficiently in English\nAbility to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment\nAbility to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching\nThe Long Island Field Office is currently located in Holtsville, NY, however USCIS has plans to move to a new location in Garden City, NY, possibly beginning as early as December 2026.
