In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory and tax requirements, and supporting the overall financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization.\nAs a trusted finance professional, you will contribute to monthly and year-end closing activities, prepare financial statements, support audits, and provide expertise in corporate tax, transfer pricing, and financial reporting.\nAs an Accountant, your responsibilities may include:\nManaging and contributing to the monthly and year-end closing process.\n\nPerforming monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.\n\nPreparing and supporting statutory, internal, and external audits, including general ledger reconciliations and documentation.\n\nPreparing corporate income tax returns and ensuring compliance with related reporting requirements.\n\nPreparing annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.\n\nCompiling and presenting Economic and Financial Information (EFI) to the Works Council.\n\nManaging intercompany transfer pricing activities and supporting compliance initiatives.\n\nSupporting due diligence projects and contributing to the development and improvement of finance policies and procedures.\n\nEnsuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality and environmental management standards.\n\nRecording and processing financial transactions, including invoices and journal entries.\n\nYou report to the Group Accounting Manager\n\nRequirements\nA higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\nMinimum of 4 years of experience in accounting.\n\nProven experience in preparing annual financial statements.\n\nSolid understanding of Belgian accounting standards; knowledge of IFRS is considered an advantage.\n\nStrong knowledge of VAT regulations and corporate income tax requirements.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\n\nExperience working with an ERP system is a plus.\n\nOffer\nScioTeq is a growing international environment with innovation as key and colleagues who share determination and high working standards which move the world forward.
