experience, this role could be a junior, senior or expert role.\nAnalyze and enhance the existing codebase for the product you’re working on.\n\nEvaluate requirements from NPI (New Product Introduction) project managers and translate them into necessary code changes.\n\nContribute to defining the overall architecture for new developments, building on existing frameworks or proposing new approaches.\n\nCollaborate with colleagues (both software and non-software) to assess all aspects of new designs, including the impact on other departments such as product product-related project meetings.\n\nTake ownership of follow-up tasks and incorporate new insights as the design evolves.\n\nEnsure reliable and timely software deliverables, including managing the release process.\n\nEstimate workloads and communicate proactively when project milestones are at risk.\n\nReport directly to the R&D Manager Software.\n\nRequirements\nYour profile\nMaster’s degree in Electronics, ICT, computer sciences, or equivalent by experience or master thinking level.\n\nMin. a few years of experience in related field.\n\nAdvanced technical skills i.e. Embedded software development: embedded Linux, Build Systems (Buildroot, Yocto)\n\nProgramming languages: C/ C++ (Python, Linux shell script, Java Script)\n\nUnderstanding of network technology\n\nVersion control systems: SVN, git\n\nYou have an analytical mind and are solution oriented.\n\nYou are enthusiastic and can collaborate with an open mind in an international team.\n\nYou have good communication
