Applicants that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.\nSciTec has an immediate opportunity in our Boulder, CO office for an Associate / Staff Digital System Engineer (MBSE Focus) with experience in modeling requirements, use cases, interfaces, and system architectures using model-based systems engineering tools. This engineer will be responsible for developing system models to support the development of a combined hardware/software data processing system. This work will be performed collaboratively with both customer representatives and with SciTec technical staff.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop digital models of operational concepts and stakeholder needs for the operation of a MOSA architecture hosting high-performance data processing applications. \nModel and support the analysis of system requirements which address identified stakeholder needs. \nDeliver digital modeling artifacts which support to SciTec development teams in the development of an integrated hardware/software solution. \nDeliver digital modeling artifacts which support documentation of the system architecture, requirements, verification status, and development roadmap \nAdditional duties as required and assigned \nRequirements\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance \nA Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline. \nDemonstrated experience in model-based systems engineering using SysML 1.x, either via academic coursework or professional experience. \nFamiliarity with IEEE 15288 systems engineering processes \nCandidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred\nAt least 2 years of relevant work experience in model based systems engineering. \nExperience with systems modeling using the Cameo family of applications. \nPrior experience in software engineering, high-performance computing, or remote sensing data processing \nA current security clearance, ideally a current TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information \nAcademic credentials or industry certification (e.g. INCOSE) in systems engineering. \nExperience with the integration of model-based systems engineering tools with other information systems. \nExperience with developing scripting, integration tools, and domain-specific languages (stereotypes) to enhance systems modeling capabilities.
