The Facilities Manager is responsible for supervising and inspecting all repair and maintenance programs/vendors, responding to, and addressing facility related issues/repairs etc., coordinating with the building landlord and internal teams to ensure proper support is provided.\nResponsibilities\nEstablish and maintain facilities management plans, policies, and procedures for multiple facilities \nSchedule and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and services \nEstablish and maintain preventative maintenance programs \nResponsible for asset management tracking \nProvide general facilities management to ensure janitorial, maintenance etc. is being kept up to standard \nHandle emergencies after hours and on weekends, as needed \nServe as the liaison with the Landlord \nDevelop and manage facilities and construction projects including scope of work, schedules, quotes and purchasing, coordination, documentation, and communicating to management and other stakeholders \nTrack warranty repairs\nEscort visitors, as needed \nNegotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors for various trades and equipment \nLead major/minor renovations and new property openings, obtaining potential design and build proposals and searching out contractors to submit bids for comparison \nReview vendor drawings and quotes to ensure compliance with scope of work\nUpdate and audit site documentation regularly \nForecast space needs \nEnsure compliance with regulations and laws \nAbility to stand, walk, climb stairs, and climb ladders\nAbility to lift up to 40 pounds\nOther duties as assigned\nRequirements\nMust be a U.S. Citizen\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience\nCertified HVAC Technician\n5+ years’ experience as a Facilities Manager, Facility Security Officer, or similar experience\n2+ years’ project management experience \nExcellent communication skills \nProficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint\nThe ability to effectively and proactively interact with staff, leadership, industry partners, and customer agencies. \nSelf-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated \nAbility to provide leadership and work with a diverse team and upper management and ensure compliance with security directives \nAbility to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures \nDetail oriented\nGood verbal and written communication skills\nCandidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred\nActive U.S. Top Secret government security clearance \nCertified Facilities Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP) certified \nExperience installing and/or managing physical access systems (badges, alarms, etc.) \nExperience developing emergency action plans \nKnowledge of construction requirements of classified spaces (32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM, ICD 705) \nBenefits\nSciTec offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including:\nSciTec offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including:\n4% Safe Harbor 401(k) match\n100% company paid HSA medical insurance, with a choice of 2 buy-up options\n80% company paid dental insurance\n100% company paid vision insurance\n100% company paid life insurance\n100% company paid long-term disability insurance\n100% company paid hospital indemnity insurance\nVoluntary accident and critical illness insurance\nShort-term disability insurance\nAnnual profit-sharing plan\nDiscretionary performance bonus\nPaid parental leave\nGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO), including holidays, vacation, and sick pay\nFlexible work hours\nThe pay range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 per year.
