Applicants that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.\nSciTec has immediate opportunities for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to work in either our Boulder, CO or Princeton, NJ office.\nResponsibilities:\nServe as the CrowdStrike technical lead, leading implementation and integration across virtual, physical, and cloud environments. (AWS/Azure)\nHarden and secure mission infrastructure assets, including servers, network devices, storage systems, and supporting platforms\nProvide expertise to the vulnerability management process, including but not limited to risk prioritization based on environment and remediation actions. (Tools include Tenable, NinjaOne)\nCollaborate with Infrastructure teams to provide cybersecurity input to system architecture, enclave segmentation, and infrastructure design decisions\nServes as technical lead for CMMC/NIST 800-171 requirements\nCreate and maintain SIEM queries in response to emerging threats around environment.\nDevelop and maintain CrowdStrike NG-SIEM log parsing\nEnsure logging, monitoring, and access controls meet security and compliance requirements\nIdentify and mitigate operational cybersecurity risks across the asset lifecycle\nSupport incident response preparation and forensic readiness efforts\nCommunicate cybersecurity posture, risks, and remediation plans to technical and program leadership\nOther duties as assigned\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field\nCompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySa+) or similar certification\n6+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering\n2+ years of experience using CrowdStrike EDR and NG-SIEM\nProfessional technical experience with NIST 800-171 / CMMC controls\nExperience conducting vulnerability scanning and remediation\nStrong understanding of Linux systems security\nStrong understanding of Windows systems security\nStrong understanding of Active Directory and IAM Security Best Practices\nExperience with scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell or Bash\nFamiliarity with network security concepts and segmentation\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance\nStrong documentation and communication skills\nProven oral and written communication skills\nStrong attention to detail\nCandidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:\nProfessional experience in Cloud Security (AWS / Azure)\nExperience integrating security into DevSecOps pipelines\nGIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification\nCrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator (CCFA) certification\nBenefits\nSciTec offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including:\n4% Safe Harbor 401(k) match \n100% company paid HSA Medical insurance, with a choice of 2 buy-up options\n80% company paid Dental insurance\n100% company paid Vision insurance\n100% company paid Life insurance\n100% company paid Long-term Disability insurance\n100% company paid Hospital Indemnity insurance\nVoluntary Accident and Critical Illness insurance\nShort-term Disability insurance\nAnnual Profit-Sharing Plan\nDiscretionary Performance Bonus\nPaid Parental Leave\nGenerous Paid Time Off, including Holiday, Vacation, and Sick Pay\nFlexible Work Hours\nThe pay range for this position is $124,000 - $158,000 / year.
