Applicants that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.\nSciTec is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee execution of complex, mission-critical software systems within a defense environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that end-to-end design, development, system integration, verification, and validation efforts are executed with rigor, aligned to program objectives, and delivered on schedule and within budget.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong experience managing software-intensive defense programs, with the ability to coordinate across technical teams, customers, primes, and subcontractors; manage cost, schedule, and risk; and drive execution in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.\nResponsibilities\nLead planning and execution of design, development, integration and test activities across the program lifecycle\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, including budget, schedule, resources, and dependencies\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate program risks\nDrive change management activities, including analysis of impacts to scope, schedule, and cost\nDrive growth through ECP proposals and negoatiations\nSupport technical leadership in requirements management, roadmap alignment, and execution planning\nPrepare and deliver program status reports, translating technical progress into actionable insights for leadership and customers\nManage stakeholder relationships, including government customers, subcontractors, and internal leadership\nIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and program execution quality\nSupport program reviews, demonstrations, and external engagements\nOversee EVMS activities, ensuring compliance with earned value requirements and accurate performance measurement\nLead CSDR management, including planning, coordination, and delivery of required cost and software data reporting artifacts\nManage overall program financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-control initiatives\nPerform other duties as assigned\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree, preferred with a STEM or Business focus\n15+ years of professional experience in software development project management\nExperience with Earned Value Management in Defense industry\nExperience managing large, complex software or systems integration programs\nExperience with resource planning and staffing across multi-disciplinary teams \nStrong problem-solving skills in complex, technical environments \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills \nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\nAbility to achieve DoD security clearance \nCandidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:\nActive DoD security clearance\nExperience managing subcontractors and external partners \nExperience supporting mission systems, space, or missile warning programs\n*Resumes, Cover Letters, and Applications which are generated by AI will not be considered for employment.\nColorado Residents: In any materials you submit, you may redact or remove age-identifying information such as age, date of birth, or dates of school attendance or graduation.
