You’ll also be responsible for carrying out raw material and finished product analysis in line with SC Johnson’s company specifications.\nAbout the Team:\nOur laboratory team currently consists of our Technical Manager, 2 Process Chemists, 4 Laboratory Technicians and a Microbiologist. The successful candidate will work within this team to carry out microbiological testing and chemical testing for our raw materials and finished products. The position will predominantly be based within our labs with regular contact with key stakeholders within Production, Quality and Supply Chain\nResponsibilities:\nCarry out raw material and finished product analysis in accordance with the requirements of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)/Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and in line with company specifications. \nCarry out microbiological testing in accordance with the requirements of GLP/GMP.\nRecord the results of this analysis accurately and legibly.\nCalculate any adjustments necessary where products are found to be outside specifications and communicate this to process operatives.\nInput raw material deliveries into relevant systems and inform Purchasing of any problems.\nExperience you’ll bring:\nAble to perform scientific measurements and record results\nScientific Qualifications at either GCSE, A-level, or University Degree level.\nBehaviors you’ll need:\nA willingness to learn to perform scientific analysis.\nProficient with IT systems - Microsoft Office.\nAble to work independently, as well as part of a team.\nPlease note that the internal title for this position will be Technician, Quality\nLocation: Denby, Derbyshire\n#LI-SS1\n#LI-Onsite\nInclusion & Diversity\nWe believe Inclusion and Diversity is more than a program.
