Nights)\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nEffectively communicate and coach all shift teams to achieve department safety, quality, and scrap goals, including batch record corrections, material handling, and cleaning activities.\nEnsure compliance with all FDA, OSHA and EPA requirements.\nEnsures right first-time production through ownership of the team’s activities, ensuring raw materials are weighed according to batch record instructions and standard operating procedures\nDemonstrate ownership of and adherence to red zone policy, facility requirements, and weigh scale standards\nOrganize the shift team to provide optimal use of personnel and equipment\nHold direct reports accountable.\nConduct performance evaluations, monitor compensation and overtime\nMotivate and communicate in order to maintain good morale and adherence to standard work\nFollow weekly production schedule for all lines, predict production start and finish times, coordinate raw material and component delivery with the warehouse, and order production batch records\nConduct routine housekeeping inspections and observe team behaviors to ensure consistency with standard operating procedures. \nPrepare for and participate in both internal and external safety and cGMP audits\nLead investigations into safety, quality, and downtime from W&D events, determine root cause, and develop effective corrective and preventive actions\nDevelop and revise standard operating procedures. \nCommunicate cross-functionally with safety, quality, and maintenance support leaders, escalating problems in the plant that can impact safety, quality or productivity and propose solutions while demonstrating due diligence to fully understand problems and communicate clearly\nConduct recruiting interviews; recommend hires, promotions, transfers and discharges.\nCross-train in other production areas in an effort to be able to cover during vacations and absences of other Supervisors.\nProactively manages shift to meet labor and scrap cost standards.\nOther duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibility: Supervise 15 - 25 team members\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma/GED\nAt least 2 years prior supervisory experience in a GMP manufacturing environment or at least 3 years of demonstrated leadership ability in a skilled operator or team lead position at SCN BestCo\nCommitted to high level of ownership of safety, hygiene, quality and cGMP practices\nDemonstrated trouble shooting ability, excellent attendance and safety record, strong work ethic\nAbility to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable\nExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required;
