If you’re passionate about care, hungry to deliver and want to be part of a flourishing company – we want to hear from you\nWe currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex. long and short-term stays.\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen with in the South Coast Nursing Homes for a Care Home Trainer, this role will be responsible for embedding training in our homes, and continuously improving standards.\nThe training team is committed to providing professional, respectful and quality training ensuring all staff are trained to the highest quality.\nThis role will require you to be flexible in your approach and will include some evening and weekend inductions, alongside this the post holder will be required to drive as there will be travel across our 9 homes.\nHours – 40hrs per week\nAs a Home Training Assistant, you will:\nSupport in the onboarding of new starters to ensure the best patient care is provided\nCarry out induction plans and complete 6 weeks of observed practice, provide useful and effective objectives and feedback\nComplete 12-week professional discussion for the Care Certificate\nSupport employees with any performance issues and devise action plans in conjunction with the home manager\nObserve homes and employees working practices for any additional training needs they may have\nAssess and complete competency with new and existing staff, including medication\nKeep up to date records\nMore about you:\nWorking knowledge of the care sector\nNVQ 3-5 in Health and Social Care\nPassionate about improving others skills, with a focus on driving improvements in the training delivered\nKind, caring, positive approach\nFlexibility in response to changing business needs\nExcellent communication skills written and verbal\nAble to use Microsoft Office\nPackage:\nSalary of up to £30,000 -
