Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours – day and night, for long and short-term stays.\nWe currently have an exciting opportunity due to expansion for a Maintenance Operative to join our team in Worthing, with travel to our other sites. \nReporting to the Head of Estates and Health and Safety, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality reactive maintenance work as well some project work at our care and nursing homes across our group.\nWe’re looking for someone with solid experience in maintenance and a trade with effective communication skills.\nThe successful candidate will have:\nPractical hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing;\nBasic Electrics skills;\nBasic Carpentry skills;\nExperience of painting and decorating;\nThe ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment dealing with conflicting priorities while maintaining good time management and meeting agreed deadlines;\nA proactive approach and the ability to think and act on own initiative with minimal supervision;\nA full clean driver’s licence, as this role will involve travelling between sites in a company van.\nBe happy in using computers and mobile devices\nHours: -
