rather than only implementing predefined designs.\n\nResponsibilities: \nAct as a Solution Architect, owning the end-to-end technical architecture of enterprise applications.\nDesign, define, and govern scalable, secure, and high-performance systems aligned with target architecture and business goals.\nLead system design discussions, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making.\nEnsure solutions align with microservices, event-driven, and distributed architecture principles.\nDrive architecture through customer engagements, solution presentations, and technical discussions.\nProvide strong technical leadership to development teams, guiding design patterns, best practices, and implementation approaches.\nCollaborate with product, engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust architectural solutions.\nEvaluate and adopt the latest technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns relevant to business needs.\nSupport performance optimisation, scalability planning, resilience, and fault tolerance strategies.\n\nThe core requirements for the job include the following:\n\nArchitectural and System Design: \nPrior experience as a Solution Architect in the current or previous organization is mandatory\nProven experience in designing and building systems from scratch, not just implementing existing designs\nStrong expertise in system design, architectural patterns, and enterprise application architecture\nDeep understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, and distributed architectures\n\nJava and Backend Technologies: \nExtensive hands-on experience with Java / J2EE in cloud-native microservices architectures.\nStrong knowledge of Core Java, the Collections Framework, multithreading, and exception handling.\nExperience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring Data JPA, and RESTful Web Services.\nProficiency in JSON, XML, and API design standards.\n\nMessaging and Integration: \nMinimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, and ActiveMQ.\nExperience designing event-driven architectures and asynchronous communication models.\n\nCloud and DevOps: \nHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nExperience in cloud-native application development using CI/CD and DevOps practices.\nFamiliarity with Docker, containerised deployments, and cloud infrastructure concepts.\n\nData and Performance: \nStrong exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases.\nExperience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.\nExpertise in performance tuning, query optimisation, and data model enhancements.\nKnowledge of caching strategies and mechanisms.\n\nQuality and Process: \nExperience with unit testing (JUnit or similar frameworks).\nStrong exposure to code reviews, logging, monitoring, and alerting practices.\nHands-on experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.\nProficiency with Git, Maven, and Nexus.\n\nSoft Skills and Competencies: \nStrong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProven experience in client handling, requirement gathering, and solution articulation.\nClear logical thinker with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.\nOwnership-driven mindset with the ability to influence technical direction.\n\nGood to Have: \nKnowledge of JavaScript, Angular, or any front-end technology.\nExposure to security concepts
