Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented culture.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated underwriting professional seeking to make a meaningful impact within a growing and entrepreneurial platform while contributing to the continued success of SCOR Specialty Insurance's Executive Risks business.\n Bachelor's degree from reputable institution; advanced degree or professional insurance designation (CPCU, RPLU, ARM, or equivalent) preferred\nMinimum of 3 years of underwriting experience within the Financial Lines insurance market.\nDemonstrated experience underwriting public and private financial institution risks.\nStrong knowledge of Directors & Officers (D&O), Professional Liability/E&O, Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Fiduciary Liability, and related Executive Risks products.\nProven ability to analyze financial statements, assess complex exposures, and develop risk-based underwriting and pricing decisions.\nExperience negotiating coverage terms, conditions, and pricing with brokers and clients while maintaining underwriting discipline and profitability objectives. \nWorking knowledge of policy wording development, coverage interpretation, and manuscript endorsements.\nEstablished broker relationships and a demonstrated ability to develop and execute upon new business pipeline and manage strategic distribution partnerships.\nStrong analytical, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex risks and make timely underwriting decisions.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present underwriting strategies and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.\n\nYou may not meet every requirement listed in the job description.
