This position requires the individual to be innovative and experienced with a high level of financial, actuarial and reinsurance skills.\n Origination support:\nCollaborate to help US traditional market team source, market, and design client solutions.\nAttend and participate in industry and client events; travel required.\nIdentify, design and present client-specific FinSol solutions \nDeal execution: own or support the end-to-end process:\nTransaction origination (RFP receipt or bilateral discussion)\nAnalyze opportunity and forming solution - includes deal structure, overseeing transaction analysis, initial pricing\nWork closely with the Pricing team on the transaction analysis and rate development\nObtain internal transaction approvals (drafting leading review process and LCT/COMEX discussion)\nLead due diligence, support treaty drafting and lead/support negotiation, as applicable\nHelp coordinate post-close transition \nProduct Development: help design new solutions by:\nIdentifying client needs via marketing actuaries and other industry sources\nLearn and keep abreast of regulatory changes\nGain necessary product knowledge to develop viable solutions, which may include working with internal SME, hiring consultants, and modelling/accounting research\nHelp map the best path forward to get internal acceptability\n Bachelor's degree or higher\nFSA designation preferred\n10+ yrs experience in (re)/insurance, ideally with exposure to product development, capital management, and/or inforce management with a focus on Individual Life, Long Term Care, Disability\nKnowledge of statutory accounting\nAbility to lead large, complex projects and transactions\nAbility to build and retain team dynamic, while taking a broader company view\nAttention to detail, while maintaining the “big picture”\nTransactional experience a plus\nTreaty drafting experience a plus\nPresentation and client-facing skills\nYou may not meet every requirement listed in the job description. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance.
