Scorpios is now looking to build a highly dedicated team to drive the brand to its highest potential.\nJob Description\nScorpios is looking for a Reservation Agent that will assist in the Reservations department helping guests to book their visit. We therefore encourage applications from all genders, races, religions, ages and sexual orientations, as well as parents, veterans, people living with disabilities, and any other groups that could bring diverse perspectives to our business.\nResponsibilities\nPromptly answer reservation inquiries via telephone, email and/or in person in a friendly and professional manner following the company’s brand standards \nAnalyze data to determine availability and rates\nEnter reservations into Scorpios system in a complete and accurate manner\nUtilize proper selling techniques and strategies to maximize budgeted venue occupancy and ancillary revenue goals\nProduce and sent letters of confirmation and other well-written correspondence\nGive detailed information as needed to callers regarding rates, packages and all aspects of the venue operation\nProduce reports based on the job training procedure that assist the Management Team to understand the Revenue and Occupancy progress\nRequirements\nProven working experience as a Reservations Agent for minimum 2 years in 5* Hotels, High-End Restaurants or comparable, in terms of quality, Beach Compounds\nVery good knowledge of English language. Additional languages will be considered a plus\nPatience and flexibility towards demanding circumstances with guests\nAbility to make each guest of Scorpios feel unique, welcomed and generally feel like ‘home’\nComputer literacy\nCandidate Profile\nInternal drive and willingness to work in a demanding, challenging and fast-paced work environment\nStrong ability and self-motivation to overcome problems at work in a resourceful, efficient, and effective way, working independently or as part of a team\nProfessional communication skills along with an innate teamwork mentality\nBenefits\nScorpios offers a competitive salary with career development opportunities, based on the candidate's qualifications and skills.
