The successful candidate will work closely with application development, infrastructure, network, and security teams to deliver secure, reliable integration solutions, enhance existing services, and ensure the stability and performance of critical banking applications.\nAccountabilities\n Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support IBM DataPower integration services in production and non-production environments\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents related to DataPower services, API integrations, and backend connectivity.\nAnalyze DataPower logs, error messages, and network traces to identify root causes and implement appropriate resolutions.\nDesign and develop new SOAP and REST integration services, and implement enhancements and defect fixes for existing services.\nDevelop and configure DataPower Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), Web Service Proxy (WS-Proxy), processing policies, and related service configurations. \nDevelop and troubleshoot XSLT transformations, XML/JSON message processing, message routing, and error-handling logic.\nSupport secure connectivity using SSL/TLS, mutual TLS (mTLS), digital certificates, and DataPower AAA policies. • Investigate and resolve integration issues involving IBM MQ, HTTP/HTTPS, and backend applications\n.Monitor service health, investigate performance issues, and proactively identify opportunities to improve system stability and reliability. \nReporting Relationships\nPrimary Manager:\nDirect Reports:\nShared Reports NA\nDimensions NA\nEducation / Experience / Other Information (include only those that are specific to the role)\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, 5+ years IT experience\n 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting IBM DataPower Gateway services\n Hands-on experience designing and developing DataPower MPGW, WS-Proxy, processing policies, and service configurations.\nHands-on experience with XSLT, XML, XPath, JSON, SOAP, and REST web services.\n Experience troubleshooting DataPower services in production environments. • Experience with SSL/TLS, mutual TLS (mTLS), digital certificates, and DataPower AAA policies.\n Experience supporting integrations using IBM MQ and HTTP/HTTPS protocols. • Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and network connectivity\n.Experience analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and resolving application integration issues.\nFamiliarity with incident management, problem management, and change management processes.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. \nCompetencies\nWorking Conditions\nWork in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence\nLocation(s): Colombia : Bogota : Bogota\nScotia GBS is a Scotiabank Group company located in Bogota, Colombia created to support different processes of the Bank and the development and execution of its global services strategy in 15 countries in the Americas.
