This work influences how Scotiabank measures, improves, and transforms customer experiences across key journeys such as onboarding, investment management, service resolution, and cross-channel engagement.\nThe primary function of this role is to support cross-channel partners by prioritizing and managing analytics projects through the full project lifecycle and delivering high-impact analytical outputs, including dashboards, case studies, models, reusable data assets, and executive-ready insights that inform business decisions.\n This is a high-visibility role for someone who enjoys combining technical analytics, business strategy, and clear communication. The successful candidate will be supported in performing complex analysis, translating findings into clear recommendations, and building trusted relationships with partners and senior leaders across different levels of technical expertise.\nIs this role right for you? - In this role you will:\nAnalytics Project Management\nIn this role, you will work collaboratively with business partners to understand their needs, explore business problems, create analytics solutions, and share insights in ways that are clear, practical, and useful.\nManage projects through the full project lifecycle, including\nScope out projects by creating requirements, timelines, project scope, etc.\nCreate scalable analytical outputs, including new data sets, dashboards, reusable data assets, actionable insights, and deep-dive analytics that support business growth, transformation priorities, and improved customer outcomes.\nCreate artifacts, such as project plans, documentation, data lineage, metadata, metrics definitions etc.\nPresent analytical outputs using clear storytelling, compelling visuals, and practical recommendations that help business partners and senior stakeholders make informed decisions.\nBuild inclusive, cross-functional connections across data requests from diverse teams to reduce duplication, streamline priorities, and create shared value across channels and business partners.\n2. Stakeholder Management\nAct as a trusted analytics partner with Channel teams, including Digital, Branch, Contact Centre, ABM, and other key stakeholders, by listening to business needs, identifying opportunities, and recommending data-driven solutions.\nShare findings and recommendations with senior leadership in scheduled and ad hoc forums, using clear visuals, slides, and storytelling to create understanding, invite discussion, and support informed decisions.\nEngage in regular meetings with business lines and functional stakeholders to understand their priorities, share perspectives, and suggest data analysis or visualizations that help support business growth.\nCollaborate with other Data, Technology, and Analytics partners\nPromote data literacy with partners and key stakeholders by helping build shared understanding of available data, tools, and analytical approaches.\nEncourage data-informed decision-making by making insights accessible, relevant, and actionable for a range of audiences.\nWhat's in it for you?\nProactively suggest project ideas, data process improvements, or value opportunities\nInvestigate and become an expert in available data sources, determine how they can be transformed and interpreted for analysis, identify gaps, and develop action plans to address them.\nDevelop reusable and scalable data assets using business acumen, statistical methods, visualization techniques, and modern analytics tools.\nConduct analysis using descriptive or advanced techniques on massive volumes of structured and unstructured data to create actionable insights\nCollaborate with business stakeholders and technical partners to establish trends, understand performance, identify opportunities for growth, and provide actionable insights\nDevelop analyses, reports, and insights that help partners make tactical, operational, and strategic decisions in support of business goals.\nDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:\nEducation in Business, Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences\nEnd-to-end analytics experience, including exploring, cleaning, aggregating, and consolidating data; creating analytical outputs; synthesizing information in easy-to-understand formats; and communicating findings to business partners\nProject management skills or experience coordinating work across multiple priorities, partners, or deliverables\nExperience querying and working with large data sets, with exposure to an Enterprise Data Lake, Enterprise Data Warehouse, or Cloud environment considered an asset\nAbility to manage the planning, processes, and coordination of multiple projects\nExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Genie, or similar platforms\nExperience with at least one programming or querying language, such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, BigQuery, or Databricks\nExperience in banking, financial services, or another customer-focused industry\nExperience in contact centre, branch, digital, or channel performance analytics\nExperience building models, analytical frameworks, or decision-support tools\nWorking Conditions:\nWork in a standard office-based environment; occasional non standard hours may be required to meet business or reporting deadlines.\nLocation: 44 King St West, Toronto\nHours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm EST \nLocation(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto\nScotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
