The successful candidate will work closely with business partners, project teams, and technology stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that support critical lending operations.\nThis role requires strong technical expertise in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, a solid understanding of banking processes, and the ability to contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle and production support.\nIs this role right for you? In this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, test, and implement enhancements to the commercial lending systems.\nAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\nParticipate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.\nDeliver high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with enterprise standards.\nPerform impact assessments and provide effort estimates for project and production support activities.\nSupport modernization and continuous improvement initiatives within the Commercial Lending technology portfolio.\nInvestigate and resolve production incidents in a timely manner.\nParticipate in on-call support rotations as required.\nConduct root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.\nSupport audit, compliance, and risk management activities.\nParticipate in disaster recovery, resiliency, and BCP activities.\nCollaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.\nParticipate in project planning, estimation, and technical design discussions.\nProvide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members.\nContribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness activities.\nIdentify opportunities to improve application stability, performance, reliability, and supportability through engineering best practices, automation, and operational excellence.\nPromote engineering best practices, automation, and operational excellence.\nDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
