This role combines Scrum facilitation, delivery management, operational coordination, dependency tracking, release readiness, and stakeholder alignment. The Scrum Master partners closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, infrastructure, security, operations, and business stakeholders to keep delivery predictable and unblocked.\nIs this role right for you? In this role, you will:\nThis role is designed for a proactive, high-energy professional who does not only facilitate ceremonies, but also drives outcomes, follows through on actions, removes impediments, strengthens team collaboration, and helps the team continuously improve its delivery flow.\nSome of the key accountabilities include:\nAgile Delivery Leadership and Scrum Excellence\nFacilitate effective Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.\nCoach the team on Agile values, Scrum principles, transparency, inspection, adaptation, and continuous improvement.\nEncourage team-led ceremonies, shared ownership, and self-organization while maintaining clear accountability for outcomes.\nProtect the team from unmanaged work while enabling fast pivots when priorities change.\n2. Product Owner Partnership and Backlog Health\nBuild a strong working partnership with Product Owners and regularly review the roadmap, priorities, dependencies, and delivery commitments.\nMaintain a healthy, prioritized, and refined backlog aligned with current objectives and business value.\nEnsure user stories are clear, actionable, estimable, and ready before sprint commitments are made.\nSupport prioritization conversations by making capacity, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs transparent.\n3. Hands-On Delivery Tracking and Blocker Removal\nStay close to the team's daily work by actively monitoring Jira boards, sprint progress, risks, blockers, dependencies, and action items.\nIdentify impediments early and drive them to closure rather than simply escalating them.\nCoordinate with external teams such as network, database, cloud, identity, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations to remove delivery barriers.\nCreate, track, and follow up on operational requests in Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, or similar enterprise delivery tools.\n4. Stakeholder Alignment and Cross-Functional Collaboration\nAct as the connective layer between business, technology, operations, and governance teams.\nBuild tight collaboration across stakeholders to avoid silos between business and IT.\nProvide timely and transparent status updates covering progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and required support.\nStay close to customers, users, and stakeholders to capture feedback and maintain alignment with business outcomes.\n5. Release, Change, and Operational Readiness Support\nSupport release planning, deployment coordination, change management activities, approvals, evidence collection, and communication when required.\nHelp validate readiness across DEV, QA, UAT, and production release milestones.\nEnsure delivery artifacts, approvals, risks, and go-live readiness items are traceable and audit-ready.\nCoordinate release impacts and timing to minimize disruption and maintain stakeholder confidence.\n6. Team Health, Coaching, and Continuous Improvement\nMaintain regular one-on-one conversations with team members to gather feedback, remove concerns, and support growth.\nFoster an environment of trust, accountability, collaboration, and shared responsibility.\nUse delivery metrics such as velocity, burndown, cycle time, throughput, and cumulative flow to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.\nEnsure retrospective actions are documented, owned, implemented, and reviewed for measurable impact.\nDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
