If so, come join us and help redefine the Canadian banking landscape!\nThe Sr. Director of Wealth Engineering will set the vision, guide architecture, set the proper engineering culture and enable a multi-disciplinary technology team to bring industry-leading digital products and experiences to market through agile practices.\nIs this role right for you? In this role, you will:\nOversee the design, development, deployment, and operationalization of highly scalable & sustainable enterprise-wide technology internal products, components, and tools to support the overall digital ecosystem.\nIn close collaboration with Digital Wealth Leaders (e.g. Engineering, Design, Product, Analytics, Delivery), lead execution against identified digital capabilities roadmaps and vision through agile software delivery and enabling a high velocity engineering environment.\nPromote co-creation and reusability on a global scale working with different teams in different countries to accelerate futures software developments.\nBuild a high-performance environment, engineering culture and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their Community of Practice by fostering an inclusive work environment and communicating vision/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.\nDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?We'd love to work with you if you have:\n10+ years’ experience in a leadership role managing large complex enterprise-level technology projects and programs with significant technology and operational components\n5+ years in Wealth Management businesses/investment industry\nExpert knowledge of software development and design principles for highly scalable, enterprise level technology stacks\nExpert knowledge in modern agile principles and in a range of modern technologies and frameworks including working knowledge of the full stack\nFlexibility to adapt to new and evolving environments and a demonstrated willingness and aptitude for picking new things up quickly\nStrong leadership and relationship building skills\nExtensive experience with automation, deployment and testing practices at scale\nProven ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to semi-technical audiences\nWhat's in it for you?\nYou will be part of a diverse and inclusive team of Client-focused go-getters looking to learn from each other in an environment that celebrates and recognizes success!\nYou will have access to thousands of online and in person courses so you can shape your career growth with the support from diverse industry leaders.\nYou will get our help to save for your future and to invest in your total wellbeing through our Tangerine benefits*.\nYou belong here, we are equal and un-complicated.
