In this role you will:\nReview documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for all requests or submitted documents, using various applications \nSupport various mid-office functions and ensure superior service is provided to Scotiatrust, Private Investment Counsel, and Canadian Wealth Management brancheswhile working closely with internal and external groups that support these businesses\nAssist management in the development and delivery of innovative solutions and improved processes, to allow the businesses to focus on client service and business growth\nProvide exceptional client service support on Client Onboarding related queries by remaining current and informed on existing and new industry regulations and firm policies and procedures\nEnsure the effective delivery of operational and administrative support to Canadian Wealth Management branches\nComplete ongoing quality control reviews of system data, operational processes, and distribution of exception reporting to branches, and maintain client account integrity by performing sundry items as required\nDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We’d love to work with you if you have:\nPost-secondary education\n1-2 years’ experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a back-office role opening accounts and reviewing documents\nCanadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practice handbook (CPH) is an asset\nPrior knowledge of the securities / brokerage operations including areas such as Client Onboarding and Regulatory Documentation\nPrior knowledge of financial industry policies and regulations including QI & FATCA, AML/ATF, Privacy, KYC, CIRRO and CRS\nKnowledge of Broadridge, SharePoint, Score, WebPost, Trust GUI, and WealthOne\nStrong organizational, problem solving, time management, attention to detail, customer service, and communication skills\nThe ability to work with computer-based platforms and applications\nDemonstrated PC user skills including word processing, MS Office, spreadsheets, and database management\nAn ability and desire to learn new tasks quickly\nAn ability to prioritize & organize incoming work\nExcellent time management skills \nLocation(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto\nScotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
