Critical to success in this role is the ability to build strong relationships with partners (both internal and external) and lead large-scale, multi-faceted programs. This role ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies,and procedures.\nIs this role right for you? In this role you will:\nLead agile product management to prioritize effectively and manage inter-dependencies across key scrum teams\n\nChampion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.\n\nPrioritize and manage a dedicated backlog with partners across Commercial, BusinessBanking, Engineering,and Operationsclosely with Engineering to ensure a user experience across client segments that is logical, engaging, and accessible\n\nLead and support the creation of new functionality through detailed user stories, based on gathering business requirements effectively.\n\nPartner closely with business stakeholder teams to ensure an effective operating and delivery model\n\nUse data to drive decisions, building hypotheses, testing and iterating, including planning for the right incorporation of data and analytics strategies into roadmap\n\nEngage day to day with the scrum teams, answer clarifying questions andsupportdecision making.\n\nPlan for and consider reusability of Canada components in other markets across the Bank’s International footprint.\n\nUnderstand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.\n\nActively pursue effective and efficient operations of yourrespective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.\n\nChampion a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment, providing coaching and mentoring to other product managers.\n\nDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:\n6+ years Experience in either: Financial Services, such as Commercial Banking, Customer Relationship Management, Adjudication, Fulfillment, or; Building digital products, particularly nCino/Salesforce.\n\nManaged a technology product or a digital journey end to end, from inception to delivery\n\nStrong understanding of the Commercial Banking business line including policies and processes, servicing models and products\n\nAbility to build trusted relationships, instill confidence and influence stakeholders\n\nExperience with financial products and services in direct investing and/or wealth management\n\nMaster of identifying and solving ambiguous problems to drive customer and business value\n\nKnowledgeable about multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Agile/Scrum, Engineering, UX/UI Design, Finance\n\nExcellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail\n\nCurious and experimental mindset to drive innovation\n\nGreat verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organizations\n\nEngineering, Computer Science or Business degrees\n\nLocation(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto\nScotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
