Ensures all activities conducted are always compliant with governing regulations,\ninternal policies and procedures.\nAccountabilities\nChampions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank\nrelationships, systems, and knowledge.\nDesign, develop and configure ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, APM, and others\nbased on business needs.\nImplement workflows, business rules, and automation to streamline processes and improve user\nexperience.\nIntegrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using technologies like REST and SOAP web\nservices.\nParticipate in the full ServiceNow implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution\ndesign, configuration, testing, and deployment.\nEnsure projects are delivered in a timely manner honoring the allocated budget and timelines.\nCreate and maintain documentation on application configurations, system integrations, and process\nworkflows.\nWork closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and other ServiceNow professionals to align\nsolutions with organizational goals.\nStay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices to provide efficient solutions.\nMakes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.\nResponsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design;\nperformance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations.\nTaking part in cross training with peers on different aspects of development.\nUnderstand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities\nand decisions.\nActively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the\nadequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with\nrespect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but\nnot limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory\nCompliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook, and the Guidelines for\nBusiness Conduct.\nChampions a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains,\ndevelops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating\nvison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.\nEducation / Experience / Other Information\nComputer Science Diploma or Degree; or related work experience.\nITIL Foundation certification or training\nAt least 2 yeas of experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, EA.\nAt least 2 yeas of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and good knowledge of web technologies\nExperience in developing ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, Web Services, and\nother integration techniques.\nExperience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.\nServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified\nApplication Developer (CAD) are a plus.\nGood communication skills.\nGood time management skills to work on multiple assignments.\nAbility to do research and development of new ways to leverage the ServiceNow platform.\nAbility to troubleshoot issues independently.\nWorking Conditions\nWork in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.\nWill require to work off-hours on occasion to provide technical support\n#LI-HYBRID\nLocation(s): Colombia : Bogota : Bogota\nScotiaTech is a business unit within ScotiaGBS, a Scotiabank Group company located in Bogota, Colombia.
