This group leads transformation, architecture, development and support for around applications globally. Many high visibility transformative initiatives are underway/being planned in the department. This role will report into the Sr. Development Manager leading this department.\nAccountabilities\nMaintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.\nIdentify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.\nCollaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies.\nParticipating in solution design discussions focused on scalability, design and implementation best practices\nEnsuring software, programs and applications are developed and/or configured to meet high availability, integrity and reliability requirements\nWorking with other developers and business analysts on breaking-down, scoping and estimating tasks.\nDelivering code for development, modernization and integration to meet the business needs.\nProactively partners with business line representatives to drive improved technology solutions that support business strategy.\nWorking closely with onshore and offshore vendor partners to ensure that solutions being delivered are of necessary quality and align with project goals.\nEnsure all code is well-documented, tested, and adheres to best practices and coding standards.\nMaintain high availability and performance of applications through proactive monitoring and incident response.\nCommunicate effectively with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs\nReporting Relationships\nPrimary Manager: Sr. Manager Development\nDirect Reports: N/A\nDimension NA\nEducation / Experience / Other Information\n6+ years of experience working with Java/J2EE. AND .NET, Java 8 experience preferred.
