In this exciting role, you’ll apply your analytical skills to solve day-to-day problems and add value to our business partners and customers.\nAccountabilities\nProvide direct support to Global Wholesale Operations users, independently resolving daily business and technology challenges with a sense of urgency.\nCollaborate with end users to understand business needs, perform gap analyses, and assess requirements to inform effective solutions and process automation.\nServe as the business lead in collaboration with technology teams and vendors, ensuring that application, integration, infrastructure, and security architectures support evolving business needs and align with the Scotia IT&S Technology roadmap.\nLead the successful implementation of business line solutions for complex projects, ensuring seamless integration across multiple technology domains.\nParticipate in all phases of the IT System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), acting as a liaison between development teams and business stakeholders. Provide timely updates to Project Managers, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.\nEducation / Experience / Other Information\nBasic Qualifications\n1-3 Years of experience as a Technical or Business Systems Analyst, including eliciting user needs, conducting requirements analysis, translating business requirements into actionable tasks, estimating story points, and contributing to the full solution lifecycle-from planning and design to implementation, testing, and ongoing support.\nExceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely through verbal, written, and presentation formats.\nStrong collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in agile, cross-functional teams using modern methodologies and tools.\nAdvanced proficiency in Excel (or equivalent tools), with hands-on experience in data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.\nPractical experience with SQL, including querying, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience in the financial services sector, particularly within capital markets or middle-office operations.\nFamiliarity with reconciliation technologies and tools, supporting accurate and efficient financial operations.\nExperience in supporting production environments for technology information systems, ensuring stability and responsiveness.\nHands-on experience with reconciliation platforms such as TLM, DUCO, or RegTek is considered a strong asset.\nKnowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and oversight is an advantage.\nWorking Conditions\nWork in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence\n#LI-HYBRID\nLocation(s): Colombia : Bogota : Bogota\nScotiaTech is a business unit within ScotiaGBS, a Scotiabank Group company located in Bogota, Colombia.
