Your contribution will help the team deliver safe, compliant and high-quality products on time.\nYou’ll play a key role in manufacturing finished products safely and to specification.\nWorking closely with colleagues across shifts and departments, you’ll help meet production schedules.\nYou’ll help drive continuous improvements to plant, equipment, systems and processes.\nThis is an opportunity to build broad plant capability and step up to support team leadership when required.\nKey responsibilities:\nFollow SOPs to charge materials, process batches, adjust, complete, label and pack finished products.\nCarry out specified in-process and final product testing to agreed quality standards.\nMaintain high standards of Responsible Care, housekeeping and compliance with company and legislative requirements.\nRecord production and quality data promptly and accurately, following up where needed.\nSupport colleagues across shifts, help train new starters and cover team leader duties when required.\nWhat we’re looking for:\nGCSE-level English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications.\nExperience in a processing plant or operational environment, working safely to high quality standards and tight deadlines.\nClear written and verbal communication, with the ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.\nA reliable, flexible team player who can use initiative, manage changing priorities and work a three-shift pattern.\nDesirable: chemical industry experience, a valid counterbalance forklift licence, and familiarity with computerised stock management systems.\nWhy join us?\nAt Scott Bader, we’re proud to be an employee-owned business where our colleagues share in our success and help shape the future of the company.
