Friday\n8:00 am - 5:00 pm\nJob Description:\nDuties/Responsibilities\nEstablish, operate, and continuously improve IT PMO governance, standards, templates, methodologies, and reporting routines.\nLead the intake, evaluation, prioritization, approval, and sequencing of technology initiatives in alignment with organizational strategy, risk, value, and available capacity.\nMaintain an integrated portfolio roadmap and oversee program plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and benefits.\nFacilitate portfolio governance meetings and prepare concise dashboards, executive briefings, recommendations, and decision materials.\nPartner with IT and business leaders to define scope, outcomes, ownership, success measures, and delivery expectations.\nCoordinate resources across concurrent projects and identify capacity constraints, competing priorities, and delivery conflicts requiring leadership action.\nProvide program-level leadership for complex, cross-functional initiatives and ensure coordinated execution across workstreams, vendors, and stakeholders.\nEstablish practical change control, risk management, escalation, quality assurance, and project closure processes.\nDirectly supervise IT Project Managers, including assigning and prioritizing work, setting performance expectations, providing ongoing feedback and development, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting recruitment and workforce planning.\nCoach project managers and project leads in planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and delivery practices.\nMonitor vendor commitments, contracts, deliverables, and dependencies in coordination with procurement, legal, security, and operational stakeholders.\nPromote effective change management, communication, adoption planning, and transition to operational support.\nDefine and track PMO metrics, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions or process improvements.\nRequired Skills/Abilities\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, project management, healthcare administration, or a related field.\nSeven years of progressive experience in project, program, or portfolio management, including responsibility for complex cross-functional technology initiatives.\nThree years of experience leading a PMO function, program portfolio, or enterprise governance process.\nDemonstrated experience with project intake, prioritization, portfolio planning, executive reporting, risk management, resource coordination, and financial oversight.\nDemonstrated Agile project management experience, including practical application of Agile principles, frameworks, ceremonies, backlog management, iterative planning, and cross-functional team facilitation.\nExperience working with executive leaders, operational stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.\nProficiency with project and portfolio management tools, productivity platforms, dashboards, and data-driven reporting.\nDetailed working knowledge of the Epic electronic medical record (EMR), including its clinical and operational workflows, implementation and optimization lifecycles, integrated applications, governance considerations, and dependencies across enterprise technology initiatives.\nMaster’s degree in business, information systems, healthcare administration, or a related discipline.\nPMP, PgMP, PfMP, or comparable program or portfolio management certification, along with a recognized Agile certification such as PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Agilist.\nExperience establishing or maturing a PMO in a healthcare, nonprofit, or similarly regulated environment.\nKnowledge of enterprise clinical and business platforms, information security, data integration, infrastructure, and vendor implementation lifecycles.\nExperience with Agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery
