We're committed to giving children back their childhood!\nJob Posting Title:\nPDC Project Manager (Planning, Design & Construction)Location:\nDallas - HospitalAdditional Posting Details:\nMonday - Friday\n8:00 am - 5:00 pm\nJob Description:\nDuties/Responsibilities\nLead capital projects of various sizes and complexities, FF&E retrofits, staff relocations, and IT support projects. \nInitiate projects and meet with end users and Administrative Director of Facilities or Sr. Project Manager to determine the users’ scope, budget, timeline, and expectations.\nWork with all project team members (end user, consultants, contractors, vendors and other pertinent SRH departments) to deliver the project that meets the end users needs while remaining within budget and schedule.\nBe accountable for all project financial transactions, approving of all requisitions and invoices to ensure the project will be complete at or under budget. \nSolicit bids and negotiate contracts from consultants and vendors that will best achieve the required results in a timely and cost-effective manner.\nEffectively manage the progress and costs of the consultants and vendors holding them accountable for fulfilling contract terms.\nObserve the projects construction sites on a regular basis to determine whether the construction meets quality and operational standards. \nWith support from SRH Safety, observe the projects construction sites on a regular basis to determine whether all requirements of the Disruption and Access form, Interim Life Safety (ILSM) permit, Infection Control (ICRAs), Above Ceiling permit, and Hot Work permits are all complete and fully signed off prior to the start of scheduled work and maintained.\nDeliver projects within the constraints of all applicable SRH policies, procedures and standards, agency requirements, city codes, and Joint Commission (TJC) requirements.\nEnsure that all items on the projects punch list are completed in a timely manner prior to go-live.\nEnsure that all required close-out documentation is received from consultants, contractors and vendors in a timely manner.\nEnsure that all final project costs and timeframes are accurately documented on the project tracking forms and project summary.\nOversee vendors and subcontractors performing work on site under the Facilities department.\nAll responsibilities apply to oversight of work on both the Dallas and Frisco campuses.\nRequired Skills/Abilities\nBachelor’s degree preferred.
