You'll bring curiosity and cross-functional collaboration to a team that works closely with fellow engineers, designers, and user advocates to shape the overall platform experience - with a focus on building fast, reliable, and polished user interfaces.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn the stability, reliability, and performance of Scribe's user-facing platform functionality\n\nBuild and ship features in our Next.js / React frontend, from concept through to production\n\nTranslate designs and product requirements into responsive, accessible, high-quality UI\n\nCollaborate with engineers, designers, and user advocates to improve the overall platform experience\n\nWrite automated tests and advocate for frontend testing practices across the team\n\nCare about frontend craft - performance, load times, rendering, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals\n\nWhat we're looking for\nYou have 5+ years of frontend engineering experience\n\nYou're highly proficient with React (Next.js / TypeScript)\n\nYou have a strong command of modern HTML and CSS, and of responsive, accessible design\n\nYou're a strong advocate for automated testing\n\nYou've seen and can implement frontend engineering best practices\n\nNice to have\nExperience building enterprise-facing interfaces for features such as SSO/SAML sign-in flows, RBAC-driven UI, or audit log views\n\nExperience with backend and willingness to become a full-stack engineer\n\nExperience with design systems, component libraries, or state management at scale\n\nExperience with frontend performance optimization in high-traffic applications\n\nStartup experience\n\nWhy you'll love working here\nHard, open problems.
