We build composable frameworks and platforms that offer operational maturity from day one, enabling faster delivery and scalable software solutions.\nWho we are looking for\nWe are looking for a QA Engineer that will ensure that software releases meet business requirements and quality standards through effective test planning, execution and defect management. Translate complex business processes into meaningful test coverage, investigate issues, and collaborate with developers, business analysts, stakeholders and clients. Communicate the testing approach and plans, share clear test outcomes and reports, and explain risks and defects to support informed decisions. Use appropriate QA toolsets-including agentic tools-to streamline test design and execution, analyse results and support defect investigation, applying sound judgement and validating tool-generated outputs.\nResponsibilities\nReview requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, ambiguities and testing needs.\nDefine test approaches based on business impact, technical complexity and risk.\nCreate and maintain test scenarios, test cases and test data.\nPerform functional, integration, regression, exploratory and end-to-end testing across web applications, APIs and system integrations.\nValidate data accuracy and consistency using SQL queries.\nLog clear, reproducible defects with supporting evidence, assess their severity and verify fixes.\nCoordinate user acceptance testing and support business users throughout the process.\nMaintain traceability between requirements, tests and defects.\nReport test progress, coverage, outstanding defects and release risks.\nProvide evidence-based recommendations on release readiness.\nIdentify opportunities for automation and contribute to automated regression coverage.\nRequired Experience and Qualifications\nAt least five years of software testing experience, including responsibility for testing complex business applications.\nA relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nStrong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing lifecycle and Agile delivery.\nDemonstrated experience testing web applications, APIs and integrations.\nStrong SQL skills for validating and investigating data.\nExperience with API testing tools such as Postman.\nExperience with test and defect management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or equivalent.\nExperience working independently and coordinating testing across multiple stakeholders.\nAdvantageous Experience\nISTQB certification.\nHands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or a similar automation framework.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.\nExperience testing role-based permissions, approval workflows, pricing calculations, billing or procurement processes.\nExposure to performance, accessibility and security testing.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure and SQL Server.\nUsing AI-enabled or agentic tools to support test planning, test case design, test data preparation, exploratory testing, automation or defect investigation.\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical thinking and attention to detail.\nAbility to prioritise testing according to risk and business impact.\nClear written and verbal communication.\nConfidence to challenge unclear requirements and communicate release risks.\nOwnership of testing outcomes and follow-through on defects.\nA collaborative approach to solving problems and improving quality.\nSuccess measures\nCritical business workflows have appropriate test coverage.\nDefects are identified early and documented clearly.\nStakeholders have reliable information for release decisions.\nRegression testing remains effective as the platform grows.\nTesting practices and team capability improve over time.\nWhy us?\nReal Systems, Real Impact: We’re not hype-driven.
