You will play a key role in embedding DevOps best practices across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, security, and operational support.\nYou will work closely with engineering, development, and delivery teams to ensure our Azure platform is secure, scalable, reliable, highly available, and efficiently managed. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, automating processes, and continuously improving cloud environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, maintain, and optimise Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application and infrastructure deployments.\nImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.\nAutomate deployment, configuration, and operational processes across Azure environments.\nSupport and maintain production-grade cloud platforms, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.\nMonitor Azure environments and proactively identify and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues.\nImplement and maintain appropriate logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.\nWork with development teams to improve deployment processes and establish effective DevOps practices.\nSupport cloud security, access management, networking, and governance in line with organisational standards.\nTroubleshoot and resolve incidents, service issues, and deployment failures in production environments.\nContribute to cloud platform improvements, technical standards, and automation initiatives.\nHelp improve system resilience, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.\nParticipate in technical discussions, solution design, and continuous improvement activities.\nWork collaboratively with technical and delivery teams to understand requirements and deliver effective cloud solutions.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nEssential Skills & Experience\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure platform engineering.\nDemonstrable experience working in a DevOps engineering environment.\nStrong experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with automated application and infrastructure deployments.\nPractical experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.\nExperience supporting and maintaining live, production-grade cloud platforms.\nGood understanding of Azure networking, compute, storage, identity, and security services.\nExperience with source control and collaboration tools such as Git.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational support.\nAbility to automate repetitive processes using scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.\nStrong understanding of DevOps principles, automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and delivery teams.\nDesirable Skills\nExperience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or containerised environments.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nKnowledge of Azure security, governance, and identity services, including Microsoft Entra ID.\nExperience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, or similar monitoring platforms.\nExperience implementing security and compliance practices within Azure environments.\nKnowledge of networking concepts including VNets, subnets, NSGs, load balancing, DNS, and private endpoints.\nExperience working within Agile/Scrum delivery
