You will play a key role in understanding user needs, analysing business processes, defining requirements and supporting the delivery of high-quality outcomes within an Agile environment.\nThe ideal candidate will be analytical, collaborative and an excellent communicator, with strong requirements-gathering and stakeholder-management skills.\nKey Responsibilities\nRequirements Gathering and Analysis\nEngage with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, objectives and user requirements.\nElicit, analyse, document and validate business and functional requirements.\nFacilitate workshops, interviews and requirements-gathering sessions.\nTranslate complex business problems into clear, actionable requirements.\nIdentify gaps, dependencies, risks and opportunities for improvement.\nProcess Mapping and Documentation\nAnalyse existing business processes and recommend improvements to efficiency and service delivery.\nCreate and maintain documentation, including:Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)\nFunctional specifications\nUser stories and acceptance criteria\nProcess maps and workflows\nData flow diagrams\nGap analysis reports\n\nEnsure requirements and supporting documentation remain accurate, clear and up to date.\nAgile Delivery and Collaboration\nWork closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to refine and prioritise requirements.\nSupport backlog management, sprint planning and Agile delivery activities.\nCollaborate with Developers, Architects, Designers and Testers to ensure solutions meet business and user needs.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.\nTesting and Business Readiness\nSupport testing activities by defining acceptance criteria and clarifying requirements.\nAssist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, issue investigation and validation of outcomes.\nSupport change management, stakeholder communication and business readiness activities where required.\nMonitor requirements throughout delivery to ensure alignment with agreed objectives.\nStakeholder Management\nBuild effective working relationships with business and technical stakeholders.\nManage stakeholder expectations and communicate requirements, decisions and progress clearly.\nFacilitate shared understanding across multidisciplinary teams.\nHelp resolve conflicting requirements and support informed decision-making.\nEssential Skills and Experience\nProven experience working as a Business Analyst within Agile delivery teams.\nStrong requirements elicitation, analysis, validation and documentation skills.\nExperience facilitating workshops and engaging with diverse stakeholder groups.\nAbility to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.\nExperience creating process maps, workflows, business models and gap analysis documentation.\nStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery frameworks.\nExperience writing user stories and well-defined acceptance criteria.\nExperience working closely with Product Owners, Developers, Testers, Designers and other delivery professionals.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nEffective stakeholder management and collaboration skills.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and maintain high-quality documentation.\nDesirable Skills and Experience\nExperience working in the UK public sector or other regulated environments.\nFamiliarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) principles and standards.\nExperience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro or Visio.\nKnowledge of data analysis, reporting and business intelligence tools.\nExperience supporting digital transformation, service improvement or business change initiatives.\nRelevant Business Analysis certifications, such as BCS, CBAP or Agile Business Analysis qualifications.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nThe opportunity to contribute to impactful digital transformation programmes.\nA flexible, collaborative and supportive working environment.\nOngoing learning and professional development opportunities.\nAccess to a community of experienced delivery, design and technology professionals.\nOpportunities for career progression within a growing consultancy.\nDiversity and Inclusion\nAt Scrumconnect Consulting, we believe diversity drives innovation and better outcomes.
