You will design and maintain test frameworks, not just run tests, with a strong focus on accessibility and quality across APIs and cloud-native systems.\nWhat you will do\nDesign, build and maintain test automation frameworks, with Playwright as the main tool.\n\nAutomate API testing using Rest Assured, Postman and Swagger.\n\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab).\n\nWrite BDD scenarios using Cucumber, SpecFlow or Reqnroll.\n\nRun functional, integration, end-to-end, regression and acceptance testing.\n\nCarry out accessibility testing to WCAG standards.\n\nRun performance testing, ideally with k6 (JMeter or BlazeMeter also used).\n\nValidate data using SQL and test event-driven systems such as Kafka and Azure Service Bus.\n\nManage defects, plan tests using a risk-based approach and maintain traceability.\n\nWhat you will bring\nStrong hands-on test automation experience, ideally with Playwright.\n\nAPI testing experience with Rest Assured, Postman or similar tools.\n\nExperience building and maintaining automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.\n\nSolid understanding of QA methodologies, defect management and test planning.\n\nWorking knowledge of SQL, Docker, Linux basics and cloud-native test environments.\n\nExperience working in agile delivery teams.\n\nDesirable\nAccessibility testing with tools such as Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, JAWS, Dragon or ZoomText.\n\nUK government or GOV.UK service experience.\n\nExisting BPSS or SC clearance, or eligibility for SC.\n\nPerformance testing with k6, JMeter or BlazeMeter.\n\nMonitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana.\n\nTest tooling such as Jira, Xray, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, and Allure or Extent Reports.\n\nDiversity and Inclusion\nAt Scrumconnect Consulting, we believe that diversity drives innovation and better outcomes.
