You will guide engineering teams, take designs through technical governance, and work across several government departments and cloud platforms.\nWhat you will do\nAdvise on the technical architecture of common components supporting app-native journeys and digital credentials.\n\nGuide the team through technical design authority and governance forums.\n\nAdvise on DevOps tooling best practices and review their implementation with engineers.\n\nWork across multiple tech stacks, including AWS, GCP and Azure.\n\nDeliver at scale in a multi-department environment.\n\nProduce architecture artefacts such as high-level designs, low-level designs and tech stack definitions.\n\nWork within strategic and enterprise architecture constraints, engaging the wider architecture community when the team needs to move outside them.\n\nWhat you will bring\nProven experience as a Technical or Solution Architect on large-scale digital services.\n\nHands-on knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP or Azure), with exposure to the others.\n\nStrong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD and modern engineering tooling.\n\nExperience producing HLDs, LLDs and architecture decision records.\n\nConfidence in taking designs through governance boards and explaining trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nExperience working in a multi-team or multi-organisation environment.\n\nDesirable\nExperience with mobile app architecture, digital identity or credential services.\n\nUK public sector experience and familiarity with the GDS Service Standard and Technology Code of Practice.\n\nDiversity and Inclusion\nAt Scrumconnect Consulting, we believe that diversity drives innovation and better outcomes.
