You will make sure delivery is well planned, coordinated and continuously improving, and that services meet the GDS Service Standard.\nAt SFIA Level 5 you'll lead other delivery managers, work with senior civil servants and act as a recognised leader in agile and lean practice.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead delivery across multidisciplinary agile teams, and support and coach other delivery managers.\nPlan, forecast and report on delivery, and manage risks, issues and dependencies across teams.\nWork with senior civil servants, product managers and programme teams so delivery matches business objectives.\nSupport teams through discovery, alpha, beta and live, and prepare for GDS service assessments.\nDrive agile and lean practice and continuous improvement.\nManage governance, assurance and approvals to government standards.\nCoordinate suppliers and cross-team dependencies.\nSpot and fix blockers and inefficient ways of working.\nBuild healthy, high-performing teams and run team health checks.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential:\nSC cleared or SC eligible.\nProven experience delivering services to the GDS Service Standard and the GOV.UK Service Manual.\nExperience supporting service assessments across GDS phases (discovery, alpha, beta, live).\nProven experience as a Delivery Manager at SFIA Level 5, including leading or coaching other delivery managers.\nStrong understanding of agile and lean delivery methods.\nExperience managing risks, issues and dependencies across multiple teams.\nExperience working within government governance structures and with civil servants.\nStrong planning, forecasting and reporting skills.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication.\nDesirable:\nExperience in central government departments.\nFamiliarity with the Government Digital and Data (GDaD) framework.\nExperience managing multi-supplier delivery.\nAgile delivery certification (for example Scrum Master or SAFe).\nExperience supporting cyber security or data programmes.\nWhy Join Scrumconnect Ltd?\nAt Scrumconnect, we are more than just a consultancy.
