Our teams work at the forefront of innovation, helping organisations transform and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that truly matter.\nROLE PURPOSE\nOwn the delivery cadence and Agile ceremonies for one or more client work packages, ensuring teams deliver to agreed scope, timeline, and quality. Act as the servant-leader for delivery teams, removing impediments and facilitating effective collaboration with client stakeholders.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nFacilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews) aligned to the GDS phased delivery approach.\nManage work package delivery from scoping through to completion, tracking progress against agreed deliverables, timescales, and SLAs.\nCo-ordinate cross-team dependencies and escalate risks and issues to authority representatives.\nOwn the formal work package response process including time, cost, and resource planning in collaboration with the technical lead.\nMaintain delivery artefacts including GDS governance checklists, progress reports, and risk registers.\nSupport resource scaling decisions, working with the supplier resourcing team to adjust team composition in line with demand.\nFacilitate onboarding of new team members and manage knowledge transfer during work package transitions.\nProvide regular reporting to client covering delivery status, risks, SLA performance, and improvement actions.\nEnsure all working practices comply with client Ways of Working standards and Technology Code of Practice.\nESSENTIAL SKILLS &EXPERIENCE:\nDemonstrable experience as a Delivery Manager or Scrum Master on Agile software development programmes.\nStrong understanding of GDS delivery phases (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live) and associated governance.\nExperience managing multiple work packages or streams simultaneously.\nProficiency with Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines) for sprint and backlog management.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills at both technical and senior levels.\nExperience producing and maintaining delivery documentation, risk registers, and status reports.\nDESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:\nSAFe, AgilePM, or equivalent Agile certification.\nFamiliarity with CAF 4.0, Secure by Design, and GDS service standards.\nPrior experience delivering maritime or geospatial digital services.\n\nAdditional Information\nThis role requires eligibility for SC Security Clearance.
